Hello all, this has been an ongoing issue, so let me start from the top.

My PC is:
ASUS P6T Deluxe V2
Intel i7 930
24gb trichannel Corsair Vengeance RAM
Asus GTX 780ti
Intel 240gb SSD (for OS) [Just upgraded to this yesterday]
Western Digital 1tb Caviar Black storage drive
Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit

About a month ago, I bought an Asus GTX 780ti [newegg.com]. It was an upgrade from my old 470 GTX I had been using since I built this PC roughly four years ago. The card installed fine. After a few days, I got on Battlefield with my friends and my computer crashed. Went from playing to black screen. The fans went into overdrive for a second and sound still played, but nothing happened.

I did a bunch of work from there. The guys at GeForce forums walked me through a bunch of steps [can be read here]. I rolled back drivers. I tried benchmark tests. At the end of a long process, I had upgraded my BIOS, and rolled back my driver and it helped. The crashing stopped, except for very specific things. When I load up Paracel Storm on Battlefield 4, it will crash once. If I boot up again and load BACK into the game, it will run fine. The same will happen on Hainan Resort. If you do not play Battlefield, these maps are largely water based. Lots of water effects and physics.

Between that post and now, I had the problem intermittently. Some nights, I could play 10 games of Battlefield with no issue, but then it would crash. The GPU is not overheating, as it isn't really getting over 80C. The CPU is water cooled. The other day, I decided it was time to upgrade my system again, so I bought and installed an SSD. After reinstalling the OS and the latest drivers, I loaded up Battlefield. It immediately crashed on loading. This time, though, it left a crash dump and an error code. It left BCCode 116. I researched the issue, and I have tried most of what is prescribed to fix it.

Right now, the desktop is running memtest86 [this post is coming off of my laptop]. I only have one .dmp file so far, as the computer has only crashed once after I installed the OS on the SSD. When the memtest is done, I will post a link to my .dmp file.

Also note: before I reinstalled my OS onto the SSD, I cleanly installed my old GTX 470 and loaded up Battlefield 4. It gave me an actual bluescreen that gave the error code of IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO once. The 780ti does NOT give that bluescreen, but rather goes straight off.

Right now, I have a RMA being processed by ASUS. Any other feedback would be welcome!

I don't think it's the GPU the game might need some patches or updates

They just put out a patch. It helped some, but others still have issues. Althis, try increasing your cpu vcore voltage

I have tried the latest update, but it will require a bit more testing. What difference would the CPU voltage do?

The game is up to date... Installed it recently. Maybe it just doesn't work on Ultra?

The game is very cpu intensive. I was having crashed with bf4, when everything else was stable. Bumped the cpu vcore slightly, low and behold no more crashing.

You could try lowering it to high settings instead of ultra, it still looks great

I have lowered it, but it still crashes at very specific intervals. When I load up Paracel Storm from nothing, it will crash upon loading. When I play Hainan Resort after a few games, it will crash about 4 minutes in. If I have been playing BF4, Paracel Storm will load perfectly fine. If I start with Hainan Resort, it works fine. If I crank it to ULTRA, the game crashes.

[All references of "crashes" means my computer turns off]

Althis, as Dude requested, run the http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html and post the ZIP file it creates here.

You say your computer restarts, do you ever get a Blue Screen with white writing on it? Also, what CPU and GPU temp monitoring program are you using and what are the temps you are getting?

Please add to your system specs what case you have and the manufacturer and model of your PSU as well as your CPU Cooler.

please go into bios and tell us the value of the +12V, +5V and +3.3V and if you are overclocking anything, please set everything back to default values.

Open a elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

Also, please update your graphics drivers using this method http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/327414-nvidia-drivers-avoid-problems.html
