BCD issues in Windows 7 Ultimate x64

I need to create a new system reserved partition on drive: 0 and delete the current one from drive 1:

There was a thread on this some time back, explaining WHAT to do, but it was never clearly explained HOW to do it!

Could someone please explain in DETAIL step-by-step how this is done?

Hi

Assuming Windows partition ( C drive ) is on "Disk 0" and "Active/System" partition is on "Disk 1", basically what you need to do is ;

- Mark the OS partition on "disk 0" as "Active".

- Power down the system and disconnect "disk 1".

- Boot from Windows install disc or "System Repair Disk" and run 'Startup Repair" up to three times separately ( to create necessary boot critical files on the new "Active" partition on "disk 0").

- Boot the system without connecting "Disk 1" and make sure Windows can boot successfully.

- Reconnect the "disk 1" ( "disk 0" should be connected to SATA port one and it should be the first boot drive ).

Make sure not to delete any partition on disk 1 before making sure disk 0 is bootale it's own. If you are in doubt, please post a "Disk management" snapshot as per http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/274797-disk-management-post-screen-capture-image.html
