Oh dear not so good .. How long is it since you Re-Installed Windows ? ...

I reinstalled it about 24 hours ago

Rigt click where? On what? I'm typing CMD to get that window, then sfc/scannow
It then says I must be a ADMIN etc

Well...I dont know what an ISO is.
This Pro 7 is from the anytime upgrade

And, for what it is worth, I don't have any problem with formatting and reinstalling. That's easy.

Shouldn't I just restore to the factory image again and then perform the upgrade? There is nothing important that will be lost. I haven't installed any programs etc such as Office or similar.

A big step? It was an inexpensive $119.00 for a good bit better OS. Further, given that there is no CD drive on the 1012, the Windows Anytime Upgrade was but a small step.

Patrick: What I meant was going from Windows Starter on a limited machine to a Pro version was a big step. Most people wouldn't bother running a more powerful Windows on a netbook. It simply doesn't have the hardware to take advantage of the software.
