Hmm, that's tricky. You could watch tutorials on how to do it. But if you want it's best to go to a local computer shop. I have no idea how much it would cost. It depends on your GPU model.

Not knowing your exact machine model/specs we cant be sure exactly what you are running but a lot of laptop gfx are inbuilt and are part of the motherboard therefore are not changeable.

Before you go spending money take the temperature tests I suggested, its possible your errors are due to overheating and this is easy to ascertain and not too tricky to fix.
If you can rule out temperature issues then make sure you have updated your gfx drivers and try uninstalling/reinstalling your gfx drivers and/or roll back to a different version and only instal WHQL verified drivers and don't use alphas or betas.

When changing gfx drivers don't install all the extra stuff that comes with them (if only temp) like CCC/optimus etc and these can often cause the problem, we are only aiming to regain a stable system initially, you can play with components later.
