Beeping sound w/ stuck logo

Hello there,


My uncle gave me this Sony Vaio laptop to get it fixed. The model is PCG-381M. The problem w/ this laptop is that when I turn it on, it makes a continuous beeping sound and the screen shows nothing but a sony vaio logo STUCK.


Guys, I would be grateful if you could tell me what the issue is.

Hi it's possible their is a stuck key on the keyboard. if your able you could remove ribbon cable from motherboard and try to turn it on and see if beeping goes away.
