Being Switched To Google Ads from Many Sites ? Why, & How To Disable

Hello,

Something new, I guess.

If I go to many sites, and click on some of their options that the sites offer, I seem to be taken immediately to some ad(s) by Google having nothing to do with the site.

Sites look and appear perfectly normal.
e.g., some Astronomy related sites I visit have places to click on to gewt a Sky Chart for the month, or info. about the Moon for this date, etc. Click on it, and whamo, right to a ad for snow tires, etc. !

To say annoying, is an understatement.

Something new ?

Any way to disable this nonsense ?
