Best gpu for my PSU

Ok so i brought a 520w seasonic m12ii EVO for a i5 6600k build. Whats the best single gpu that can be used with this psu? Is there room for OC'ing the unlocked core i5?

Computer isnt build but:
Core i5 6600k
Cooler master hyper evo 212
2x4gb kingston ddr 4
Z170 motherboard (don't know witch one yet but not the expensive rog ones)
2 case fans
1tb wd blue
Seasonic m12ii evo 520w bronze (not haswell ready)
Normal mouse and keyboard
6 usb devices.

It's definitely going to have to be an Nvidia card. ATI/AMD Radeons are too power hungry for that PSU. I'll let the Nvidia experts comment on what kind of GPU to buy, as I don't know the product line all that well.

As far as overclocking, I don't recommend it with that PSU. Once you get a GPU in the case, the PSU will almost be at its limit for available power, especially if you're gaming. There won't be much overhead. You need a little room to overclock, I'm afraid, and with that PSU, you haven't got much. I don't think an overclock will go successfully in your case. If you had a 700W or 750W PSU, on the other hand, you'd have enough headroom for a very good GPU, and still have room to OC.

Im thinking gtx 960 woth TDP 120w? Would that leave oc room. The idea is i want a budget card like 960 so that it has enougth watts left for a oc to 4-4.5ghz althought with air cooler it wont be a big oc. When i upgrade the 960 in 2-3 years, then ill think about a bigger psu? Does that sound ok

I ran your specs through a power supply calculator. It seems that the Skylake CPUs are less power hungry than I thought. The calculator gave a conservative estimate of 385 Watts of total power usage. That's a minimum, and as I said conservative. There are many factors which could increase that number very quickly.

As for overclocking... Based on the figures, you might have enough headroom for a stable OC if you don't OC your GPU at the same time. Going for 4.5 GHz is a little extreme, though. Especially on air. You might get 4 or 4.2 GHz without excessive heat, but YMMV. It's hard to say. You might be lucky and have a well binned CPU that will get you to 4.5, who knows?

Just remember the old adage:
"If you can't afford to replace it, you have no business overclocking it."

Another problem is weather to go for a current get gpu or pascal/polarious since its so close to release, bht new cards cost more and im not rich. I somehow fis a r9 380 into budget at 230 usd but i wonder what next gen card i could get for that. No official info as of yet. Im desperate to build as it seems i keep holding off (core 2 duo HD5670 not fun). But i can only hope amd/nvidia budget midrange cards are out in a few months
