I'm sorry. I don't understand your answer. Please state clearly the model computer you are having trouble with. Have you tried the process I detailed in the first paragraph of my previous post?

pavillion dm4-3009se entertainment pc and i did the steps and still doesnt work

Sorry that this is not related to drivers, I just saw 'Sony update website' and wondered what the URL is. I reinstalled windows and now can't get VAIO update.

I've tried a few, but only have trust on these two: DriverPack Solutions and Driver Genius Professional. The former is a freeware while the latter is not. I personally use DriverPack Solutions after a fresh install of Windows in a system unit, then use Driver Genius to see if there's any updated drivers not contained in DriverPack Solutions. DPS, as its title says, is a packaging of existing drivers for most (if not all) known hardware parts out there and is updated on a yearly basis. DG, however, has its own list of existing hardware and its drivers which it uses to fetching updated drivers.
