Best Windows Optimizer?

What is the best Windows Optimizer, like defragger and registry cleaner into one program.

we aren't too keen on registry cleaners here. they can sometimes 'break' a computer, and a slightly dirty registry causes no problem.

do a search on 'registry cleaner' on this forum, and have a read.

defraggler is a good little freebie defragger.

Win 7 needs no "optimizing". Ccleaner is a good little tool for simple housekeeping but use the reg tool with caution.

The best optimizer is between your ears. Make changes with caution. If you change 20 things at the same time and your system is hosed, how do you know what did it? Make a change, watch and wait.

Win 7 does an excellent job of optimizing, not like you had with XP and Vista.

Windows defragmenter works fine. You don't need another one.

As previously mentioned, CCleaner is an excellent program from cleaning up after yourself. The registry cleaner portion thereof works perfectly.

If you have a great fear of using the registry cleaner which many of the contributors here use, namely, the CCleaner registry cleaner, then let Microsoft clean the registry for you. That's a new thing with Microsoft.

+1. People need to learn to leave Windows 7 alone. It isn't XP.
