Solved BEX error/windows explorer crash after trying to print

I'm having problems printing to a Xerox docucolor 250 with creo spire controller from windows explorer. I can send jobs just fine to the other printers in the shop but when I try to print to the 250 it crashes windows explorer. The problem details indicate a BEX error with the fault module name: stackhash_0a9e. Not sure if any other details would be pertinent. :\

found out the 250 is not supported in windows 7. thanks!
