hi everyone , i need your help to solve as i think this is one of the herdest problem i got so far in my pc.
i am running windows7 sp1 x64 on intel core2quad q8400 and mobo intel dg43nb with 4gb of ram (rendition) and ati radeon hd4670 1gb ddr3
psu thermaltake 700watts

the problem is i got random bsod , sometime at windows start up , and sometime after windwos start in 5 minutes ,
so i decide to format the hdd and repartion it , after i did that i still having the same problem, i installed all the latest drivers , so i decide to remove on of the rams (2gb) and work on the other to test it i got no problem so i changed to the other one again with no problems at all , sometime when i put them togetheri am getting bsod amd sometime not at all , so i decide to reinstall windows7 again , but this time i got another problem i cannot see the text at the boot time (press any key to boot from disk....) but if i press any key it will boot , it only not showing the text , this is strange , because i want to use memtest but i cannot see the menu at all only blank screen , but the memtest it is working fine because if i press (esc) it will restart the pc , i am only not capable to see the menu at boot time ....

but so far i am not getting bsod any more i don't know why , i put all the ram back ..

please if anyone knows anything about this , i need your help..

Try to clear your CMOS by going into the BIOS, going to the EXIT screen, loading setup/optimized defaults, saving, and exiting.

hi and thanks for helping me , well i done that before but still getting the same thing , but yesterday after i format my hdd for the third time i did not get any bsod anymore i don't know why , bu still having the other problem , when loading any bootable windows disk , i cannot see the text (press any key to boot from cd....) but if i pressed any key it will boot , in this case i am still having problem that i cannot use (memtest)to test my rams because i cannot see the menu , it is like hidden menu....!!!!

i tries to change my hdd , but still i cannot see the menu, so i thing this problem is related to the motherboard,...

honestly i formatted my windows many times using the same disk and i was not getting this problem , i dont know why

Try clearing your temporary memory and doing a BIOS hardware/software reset:
  1. Shut down and turn off the computer.
  2. Unplug the computer from the wall or surge protector (then remove the battery if it is a laptop).
  3. "Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station, disconnect
cables to printers or devices such as external monitors, USB memory sticks or SD cards, headset or external speakers, mouse or auxiliary keyboard, turn off WIFI and Bluetooth wireless devices." (Use Hard Reset to Resolve Hardware and Software Issues HP Pavilion dv5000 Notebook PC series - HP Customer Care (United States - English))
  4. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds. This closes the circuit and ensures all
power from components is drained to clear the software connections between the BIOS
and hardware and clear any corruption in the temporary memory.
  5. (If it is a laptop, plug the battery back into the laptop and then) Plug the computer back into the wall. Do not reconnect any unnecessary peripherals; monitor, keyboard,
and mouse should suffice and be the only peripherals reconnected.
  6. Turn it on to reinitialize the software connections between the BIOS and hardware
