Is there a link that provides a fix that actually works?
Windows 7 Home Preimum 64 bit
WLM 2012 (Recently updated to 2012 from 2011 - issues started in 2011 version.)
My issues with WLM started when I rolled back to Windows 7 after trying out Windows 10. I noticed that I couldn't delete certain email messages. I found a work-around, but can only delete one message at a time - I have no patience for that. Anyway, I uninstalled WLM 2011 and installed WLM 2012 hoping I'd be able to recreate CLEAN email accounts. No luck - all OLD emails were moved over from 2011 to the 2012 version. This put me back to the same issue - having to delete one email at a time.
I tried the recommended fix: To repair Windows Live Essentials - That did not work.
I have disabled any anti virus email/scans that might be causing problems -That did not work.
I started to receive a pop-up "Recovering Windows Live database" - This is a recent thing and I'm not sure why.
Anyway, I'm at a loss and pretty much have given-up trying to fix this. Again, is there a fix for this? If so, please provide a link even if it's instructions for doing an uninstall/reinstall without adding old emails from the prior version.
Edit to add: I just want to mention that I deleted over 2,000 old emails manually one at a time. Afterwards, I closed WLM and reopened - the emails that I deleted were present again. Does this have to do with "Recovering Windows Live database" ??? Oh man, I spent so much time deleting those emails for naught.
