Blue screen

Lately my computer works really slowly. Everything that I try to use is getting long time to open. Even the internet is working really slow...

Few days ago I tried to play some game and it was working fine, a little bit slow but fine. Today all this slowliness started and from then when I try to play a game I get blue screen.

Overclocking? I don't know what this mean or how do I stop doing that(if I'm doing ).

How do I run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings?

About eXtreme Power Supply Calculator - there is so much information that I don't know all the informations that I have to tell. Can you do it for me? Or there is any easiest way?
My PSU wattage is 500W.

Your computer is slightly overclocked. You need to boot into the BIOS and set it to default to revert the overclock.

Furmark should run for 10-15 minutes. You ran it for only a little time and it assumed a high temperature.

The CPU is running hot enough. It the speccy taken after furmark test or before furmark test?

500 watts PSU is somehow enough for a non-overclocked system.

Furmark ran for enough time. You did not report a crash during it, and the image rendering is OK too.

The temps are not extremely high, but should be taken under consideration if the issue continues.

As you set the BIOS to default, use the computer normally now. Report us for any further BSOD.

OK, dismantle the computer. Clean the entire inside very carefully. Clean all the air vents and fan grills so that the computer can blow the hot air out efficiently. While re-seating, apply new thermal paste to the heatsneak.



If you cannot do it, get it done by someone (may be a paid technician) who can do it. But that is very must. Dont neglect it.

I am waiting for thermal paste to be delivered but until then I have one more question. Sometimes when I restart or shut down the computer and then turn it on again the windows says that my hard disk need to be checked and then the windows is scanning it. Does that means that there is also something wrong with my disk?

Be sure about it. Test your HDD using Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows. Take bot the short test and the extended test.

Here is what happened.

First I reinstalled the windows because I wanted to run the program that you suggested. My disk passed the short test but after couple of hours running the long one the computer crashed and I couldn't go back to the windows again...there was scanning my disk but windows restarted all over again...scanning - restart, scanning - restart...

Then I applied termal paste like in the video and turn on the computer again. Computer wasn't so loud then before, there was a big difference in loudness and I also get into the windows. Program scan continues but after a while there was crash again and I am on the beginning of this post...system is scanning my disk, computer restarts and there is scan again...if I get it right system couldn't scan my disk. But month or two ago this scans was every time I turn off my computer and then turn it on again.

So is the reason for all of this my disk? Do I have to change it?
