Hi all,
Recently I have freshly loaded on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, and I have noticed that there is a blank white icon my desktop, which I cannot remove from my desktop. I can right click and delete but after a shutdown, restart, log on/off or refresh of the desktop it will reappear.
I have not installed anything apart from Office 2010 and a couple of games. I did not notice it come up after the installation of this software, so I think this has only just recently happen.
I am also having the same issue with Microsoft's OneNote folder on the desktop as well. For some reason it has created a folder on the desktop too, which is faded out. Even though I have not even opened the program up yet?
I have read google for a couple of days now on this issue and cannot find the same issue that I am having. Mostly permission errors I have been able to find.
Just wondering if anyone out there has the knowledge about this issue, or if you know of a fix to get this annoying icon away. Please see picture below for what is on the desktop. I can post specs up as well if needed.
Thanks guys, Much appreciated.
