Try to make backup as soon as possible. And/or copy import stuff to external disk.
You're harddisk is dying!!! A reinstall won't solve that... it's an hardware error.
Do it asap..don't wait!
Very theoretically it can be a virus... but even from recovery environment it takes hours to simply chkdsk.
Buy a new disk. windows 7 home premium you have(?) Is it 64bits? english version?
You have a valid product key (look for COA sticker [Certicate Of Authenticity] somewhere on laptop)?

Install missing drivers from windows update, or manufacturer site. Check "device manager" for "other devices"
