blue screen of death wont stop

i recenlty got a blue screen of death and after that my laptop restarts then says no boot found reboot press any key , then it says no boot found retry and keeps doing that, i used whocrashedmypc and got the problem after which i looked up on ur forum found a imagrepair thing downloaded it ran it now it found the problems but its asking for money to fix it http://786-PC-Thu_04_28_2016_142001_72.zip - ZIP archive, unpacked size 18,652,217 bytes

Akber mate get that rubbish software off the machine (in the pic) for starters and can you not even boot into safe mode?

If you can then at least run these

i couldnt do anything i just removed laptop battery , it said press any button to boot i pressed it said no boot data found or something and again press any button

JUST GOT A BLUE SCREEN AS I WAS ABOUT TO UNINSTALL THE PROGRAM as soon as i openned the programe list i got a blue screen which wouldnt go away so i had to removed battery but i wrote it down

If you can't boot, try to make a pic of the BSOD as that would give some clearance of what type the BSOD is so we can get a better thought of what may be going on.

The software you installed is from a banner, nothing wrong with that except that you've unfortunately fallen for such scam programs.

Did you run the scans ICIT2LOL asked for? You can run them outside Windows.
Please run following test.

Thanks axe I was heading for the hard drive when I saw the first post back. Akber mate can you also give us an idea what the laptop is even the brand and model number would be really helpful.

Now if that drive really is dead then I have a little something that might be able to retrieve data but will wait on the drive test first. Now if you need to do that you may have to connect that drive the the desktop you have by either a SATA port or a USB adaptor - they are not expensive - see pic.

guys my laptop heat up and shut down while performing the scan and i was recently downloaded a vpn and one of them opened up a black window and downloaded drivers, do u think that might be a problem -

That sounds like you've installed a driver update program, please remove it and revert back the changes it made by using a restore point.


Could you please just try what is suggested for now, if you don't understand something ask for guidance please instead of trying things that could complicate things like the driver update program.

i cant revert back as i have no saves made and i was downloading like pure.vpn im going to do the thing u told me i just couldnt get the time because yesterday when i tried scanning my laptop shut down

Ok one thing you can do very easily is check the underside of the machine and look into the air intake where the fan sits. See my little ditty

CLEANING A LAPTOP FAN & COOLER RAD
The thing you do is to turn over the laptop and shine a very bright light into the air intake aperture (you will see the fan there) and then while doing that look at the outlet vent on the end of the laptop you should see the light quite clearly shining through the cooling " radiator" if not - it is clogged and will need cleaning as will probably the fan opening.
You can do this by blowing it out using a compressed air can in short bursts.
BUT ONE WORD OF WARNING DO NOT blow the air into the fan opening without inserting say a plastic rod or large cable tie to stop the fan from spinning as the air blast will spin the fan at a very high speed that it is not designed to take and may wreck the bearing!!
To clean the slots in the radiator use a pipe cleaner or one of those craft covered wire sticks - they are referred to as chenille sticks - see pic. But do be very careful not to be overly heavy handed you will find it might take a second or two or a few minutes to clear the heavier build ups.
