Blue Screen on start-up following latest Win7 updates

Hello

I have a:

Intel core i5 750
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4 MB

My OS is Windows 7 Professional 32 bit

Following the latest batch of 9 updates I have developed a BSOD issue on startup.

I can restore the system and then it runs fine, however as soon as I apply the new updates the BSOD returns.

I thought it may have been a conflict with my anti-virus software - AVIRA - so I tried unistalling it, however, windows decided to apply the new updates during this reboot, triggering another BSOD and then restoring a damaged installation of the antivirus software.

I have updates set to download but not update without my authorization, however, windows is applying them again after each restore and I do not know how to stop them. Currently my system will BSOD, then I restore it to a working state and the next time I shut-down windows applies the updates and the whole process repeats.

I have included the minidump logs and the performance test as a zip file.

Issues with the ADFS service listed in PERFMON. Uninstall Adobe products and reinstall the latest available version

You have 73 updates installed, my copy of Win7 x64 has 87 updates.
Disconnect from the internet, then use System Restore to reset the system.
Then rechange the Windows Update settings so that it won't install unless it asks you first.
Then set a new System Restore point.
Keep in mind that you're gonna have to go get these missing updates later on.

Uninstall the ATI Catalyst Control Center (older versions may have BSOD issues). If you must have this program, then download the latest version AFTER uninstalling the current one.

Update your USB 3.0 drivers - older one's have had BSOD issues. But none have been seen for several months - so we presume that an update has fixed the problems.

The BSOD points to your Avira Antivirus as the cause. Please do the following:

Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free antivirus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
- uninstall the Avira from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Avira using this free tool: Knowledgebase for Home
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free antivirus
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's

ATI video drivers are also present in the stack text - so I'd suggest uninstalling ALL ATI stuff from your system. Then download the DRIVERS ONLY (in the individual download tab on the web page) and install them.
Test for further BSOD's

Updating the following drivers will be the most likely solution for your Windows Update problem (I think that the cause is an older driver that isn't compatible with the Windows Update that is causing your BSODs).
