Blue Screens and freezing...

Got home today to any frozen computer....Aaaarrrgggggg.

I was having that problem as well. I would come home and my monitor would be black and the computer would be running but i couldn't get the screen to come on. The only way I could get out of it was by resetting the computer. I also ran hard drive scans and they all passed. I ended up purchasing a new hard drive and reinstalled windows and haven't run into the problem yet. On the off chance, it could be your hard drive. Yeah, that is exactly what's going on with mine. If the all of the hard drive scans report no errors, is it still really logical that the hard drive is the problem? What about the motherboard? This computer is less than 6 months old.

Yeah, that is exactly what's going on with mine. If the all of the hard drive scans report no errors, is it still really logical that the hard drive is the problem? What about the motherboard? This computer is less than 6 months old.

It could be the motherboard, but there is no way to know without swapping it out with a known good working motherboard. My hard drive scans showed no errors as well but replacing the hard solved the problem for me.
