Hi together,

I'm having lots of problems with Bluescreens in the last few weeks and it's getting really annoying since it only happens when playing games (and "leaving" the games result in punishments).

So, yesterday, I updated all my Drivers and played a few games without having a BSOD so I thought that fixed it, but that wasn't the case.

The compressed ZIP file (I did it with 7zip) using W7F Diagnostic Tool: W7F_19-11-2013.zip (2,38 MB) - uploaded.net
(couldn't upload it otherwise, hope it works) including the Minidump files.

Screens from CPU-Z about PC info:

Screen from RAMMon (probably some additional info that would help):

Probably another useless info but I want to include everything just to be sure:

Hi,

no, "unfortunately" not. Never used any Logitech software, afaik (search function doesn't show anything, either).

The error code seemed to differ a lot, to be honest.

A week ago, it was all about "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", but after updating every driver I have, it seemed to have stopped. Also, I occasionally got PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, but not even as much. The "10d" error code appeared the night after and since then, I have BSODs every few games. The game I'm playing is "Dota 2" btw. It's probably important that it apparently doesn't happen when I play "Football Manager 2014". It seems to happen when I play games that have higher requirements and/or better graphics (Football Manager is pretty "simple").

I'll read through the links you've posted, thanks for that. The index seems really helpful.

Oh, my bad.

Is this correct?

Also, if the info I've gotten from the "BSOD Index" is correct, then the cause of error is:

0x5 The handle value passed in | Reserved | A framework handle of the incorrect type was passed to a framework object method.

Not sure how to fix it though.

Hello DoubtGin.

*** If the issue is fixed as crankypenguin is saying, please overlook my suggestions.

I would suggest you to try to update your TP-LINK Wireless USB Adapter from Download - Welcome to TP-LINK.

If no feasible update is available, then use another adapter, on a test basis, just to see if the situation is the same there or not.

Let us know the results.

A stop 0x10D BSOD causes mostly by any device driver or RAM.

We already have a failing device driver. So we need to fix it at first before any further attempt to troubleshoot.

So the problem is the TP-LINK Wireless USB Adapter? My adapter is this one: TL-WN721N - Welcome to TP-LINK

I simply downloaded the first one (TL-WN721N_V1_131113), is that ok?

Also, I have another question related to that. I have deleted every TP Link related file, but I still connect to the Internet whenever I "plug in" the USB. Is that actually what should happen?

It feels like the USB driver is completely useless and I have a connection regardless.

Deleting files will not uninstall the driver actually, until and unless the driver file (it is athrux.sys; that means it is developed by Atheros and marketed by TP Link) situated in C:\Windows\drivers. So connectivity will remain.

The driver that you have downloaded is a perfect one. Let us know how the computer is running after applying the update.

Is it better to delete that file as well? Because after I tried to install the "updated" one, it didn't really overwrite the old one but both "versions" were simultanously up.

Explain it? Let us see a screenshot?

Drivers and software gets updated when a newer version is installed, it does not install the newer version as parallel to the existing version. So I am bit of confused at this point.

I think I got that one wrong, I've installed the new one and played a game without BSOD (won't say a lot, obviously).

I'll test it for a longer period and tell you about the result.

So, everything was fine for a few hours, I even cleaned the dust on my pc that I hadn't seen before. But just ten minutes ago, another BSOD appeared, this time being IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL again.

Here's the file:

The problem seems to be the WLAN Driver again. So what went wrong? I didn't do anything extraordinary while downloading the driver. Or is the USB adapter the cause (I think it's the driver, though).
