bluetooth button stopped working..

i installed 7 a few days back...but yesterday i got a new kinda problem..
1) my windows started hanging on shutting down..also when i keep system idle for 5 mins and then cm back and start it..it takes about good 5-10 seconds to respond..hanging totally in the mean time..

2) my Bluetooth button suddenly stopped working today..!! today when i booted up..my bluetooth came up as switched on on bootup (i keep it off and turn it on only when i need it..) and now my bluetooth button is unable to turn it off...its like on permanently..!! its working fine..no issues..but how do i turn it off??

my laptop is hp pavilion dc2500
AMD turion 1.9Ghz 64 bit
1 GB RAM
nVidia 7150M graphics card..
windows 7 64 bit
Please guide me regarding above problems...!!

Finally, check to see if any new software / updates were installed (and remember that HP also has its own updater process)....

Checked - no hp updates..

Hi..Sorry for the bad language. I shall keep the above points in mind.

I checked for updates but none of them were installed by HP, there were a handful of them and all of them were windows updates. Dont know if windows updates is the cause of the problem...though i doubt it..!!
