I have recently instaled windows 7 professional 32bit and 64bit versions on same laptop.

to my surprise the boot menu does not display, though its present.

boot options have it on a 10 second delay so i get a 10 sec blank screen.

in that time if i hit <Enter> I get the 32 bit version

if i hit <DOWN ARROW> and <Enter> I get the 64 bit version.

As you can see it works perfectly, but does not display anything.

I suspect its a resolution issue.
both versions of windows 7 work perfectly.

Any hints on this subject?
