Boot SSD

Do you have a good back up option? Such as disk Imaging?

If so, one thing you can do to save some space is disable system restore. You will need to make frequent complte disk images of the SSd though.

I wouldnt go without a PF at all. Instead, make a static one at about 1.5Gb min at max.
Disbaling Hiberfile will also save alot of space, however you stated you want this feature.

With all this, you should be ok installing the Os and Programs to the OS.

Moving All User folders and games to the Spinning array.
