my computer takes 30 seconds to boot to the windows boot screen then windows takes 1 minute to boot from the flag screen and half the time it does not go into windows. once it boots up everything is fine, i have turned off all programs that do not need to start up during boot up time, i have windows 7 64 bit home edition a SSD drive with only windows on it. I can usually figure out what is wrong and fix the computer but this one has me stumped. I have checked all the bios settings and they are right I set everything to default values and it still does the same thing. any help with this problem would be appreciated. Thank you

Do you have trim enabled on your ssd? That can cause big slow downs if its not enabled. I'm sorry I don't remember how to turn it on off the top of my head right now, but just Google turning trim on in windows 7.

I have two 4GB Corsair XMS3 modules and two 2GB Corsair XMS3 modules.
A clean install of Win 7 on an SSD will automatically apply trim, if you install a system image you would need to Trim before installing.
Tutorial

Can you post the details of the SSD? and have you verified the BIOS is set to AHCI mode ?

Windows System Image is on it's way out. It is included in Win8 consumer preview - looks like it will be gone in the final version.

Might as well start using a 3rd party imaging app. now .
