I am installing windows 7 on my spare dell laptop running windows 11 x64. Unfortunately, for some reason when i was booting the installer iso through a samsung portable ssd t5, it froze on the starting windows screen, specifically during the start of the windows logo animation. I started the process of this by finding an iso, using rufus to put it on the ssd (setting the partition scheme to GPT and the file system to NTFS) and booting through the ssd. I kept my boot sequence default. My motherboard is uefi only, and using AFDI instead of RAID gives me BSOD. My laptop's fans are also very loud while on this screen. What should I do?
