Hello there fellow users!

I have some troubles with new PC I've built yesterday.Today I was trying to install a new W7 Ultimate x64 from USB device and the only thing PC kept showing me was "BOOTMGR image is corrupted",but the funniest thing is that when I've tried to plug HDD into other PC and install OS....it worked perfectly!
I can't imagine what is making that sort of problem, but IT IS quite frustrating...
When I installed W7 on HDD plugged to 2nd PC I tried to plug it to new one,I had that 'BOOTMGR' text again and I've done bootrec /fixmgr and 2 other commands.Nothing helped and I have no idea what to do next.
Please help!

Regards,

Please don't say that's the fault of creating 2 partitions....I'll kill myself D:
And 1 thing - now I can't use the DVD installer,on screen there's a message that I haven't got a 2nd Boot Device,but I have and BIOS detects it!

Of course not, lol.. Because recently i encountered the same issue "Bootmanager" issue and i reformatted my system. And what i noticed my system was trying to boot on the partition labeled as "System reserved" and that was weird. Anyway before that, did you tried to check your BIOS and the boot priority settings?

Sure that I did,BIOS works as it should and boot priority is setted as I want to

EDIT.Maybe I should try to wipe HDD on second PC?

Im a little bit confused on this part, since you are using a bootable USB you are getting the BOOTMGR issue prior installation of the OS, right? or After installation on the new PC? Did you tried to check the RAM of your new PC? Bad RAM can cause bad installation of OS that will lead as well to boot errors. You can try to check health of the RAM by performing memtest86+. or you can as well try to use the RAM of your other PC on your new PC and try to perform again a clean installation (Complete Wipe) on your HDD to check if the RAM has issues.

Maybe I wasn't clear at the upper part, but now I'll try to test RAM with your method and post the results in a few minutes.
And I'll explain it right after testing memories

Well,I think that we have the guilty of my issue here.
I had another RAM memory available and I've plugged it in.PC...works fine and my 2nd PC with RAM from 1st one...just staggers at launching BIOS.Now W7 is booting(FINALLY) and preparing updates of course.
I could've not figure it now that RAM is responsible for the problem.

Do you still need explanation what I meant on the very top? ;)

And of course I'm very grateful to 'rigz' for helping with the problem. Thanks!
