SOLVED - Bootup Error 1014 DNS Server not responding

My ISP is Cox.net and I'm on a cable modem with the latest firmware.
No router, no wireless just a Motorola SB5120 cable modem.

I have no problems with internet connection or speed but just wondering if anyone else has seen similiar events in your log. It doesn't affect anything I know of other than it only happens on bootup.

Actual event says
" Name resolution for the name wpad.ph.cox.net timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded"

Thanks

I found a solution for my issue above.

It means that my computer is set up to try to use Web Proxy Auto Discovery (WPAD).

Cox does not use proxy servers, WPAD or otherwise.

If you want to stop it go to
Control Panel>Internet Options>Connections tab and click on the 'LAN Settings' button and un-check the 'Automatically Detect Settings' box.
Note that this is on by default in later versions of Windows 7.

Thanks for solving this, as I've been looking for a solution for this for ages.
Edit: Sorry it doesn't work
