Solved BSOD 0007F and others after 30mins of OS booting

Hey guys,

I've got windows 7 on a Dell t3400 and recently she keeps getttin a BSOD after 30mins or so.

I reinstalled graphics drivers to no avail.

My computer is and has always been clean and up to shape. i ran a virus checker and nothing turned up. I ran memtest and there was no badness. I ran SFC /scannow and it found nothing.

I will attached diagnostics to this post.

Configure dumps

First, we want to make sure the computer is saving your dump files. Go to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced System Settings -> Startup and Recovery [Settings] Make sure that "Write Debugging Information" is set to Small Memory Dump (256kb) if it is not already.

Next, make sure that the folder C:\Windows\Minidump exists. If not, create it (allow permission if asked). Make sure any dumps you want to analyze, whether yours or others', are in this folder. You can ZIP/RAR the files and send them to someone else to analyze as well.

Is the firmware for your SSD up-to-date?

Check for one and see if the stability returns.

It appears that this install of windows is counterfeit, the product ID matches a Lenovo when the system its self is made by Dell. This is only possible through a hackers exploit, please purchase a legal copy of windows format and then reinstall with the legal copy of windows.

I bought this Pc awhile on ebay - I don't why those activation messages would be there - that's not good!

when i got into the system settings - its says my product is activated so, it must be!

Yes but your Windows 7 Product Key doesn't go with the PC . Dell T3400s didn't come with Windows 7 but they came with Windows Vista .

You would have to purchase a legit copy of Windows 7 to continue using Windows 7 .

The key you have goes with a Lenovo PC

We do not support counterfeit copies of windows, it is likely that whoever sold you the PC put a Pirated copy of windows on the PC before selling it to you.

you can try to reinstall using a legit copy of Windows, though
after that, see if BSOD still coming...if it is, then there's a possible hardware fault...

but, it's up to you

Is there a valid COA sticker for Windows on the machine? If so, then you can reinstall that version and edition of Windows, or purchase an Upgrade to whatever edition you want, and install that

If not, then you'll have to purchase a Full license for whatever OS you choose to install.
