Hi all,

I'm kinda new to the forum, so my apologies if this thread goes against any of the guidelines.

The BSoD appears every once a while, although I've noticed it appears every single time if I put my PC to hibernate, i.e. within an hour after I wake it up. I ran the SF diagnostic tool and attached the output zip file here.

Please lemme know if I've missed out anything in the zip. Thanks!! :)

So, how do I provide more reports? Should I just keep running the diagnosis tool till more of them appear, or am I missing something else?

Hi all,

I'm back with more reports. I've attached the updated zip here. Lemme know if you'd need anything else.

Thanks, :)

The reports indicate usbhub.sys
Lets see if we can fix
Go to search and type device manager
In DM, look for universal service business
Expand go to drivers. Uninstall drivers one at a time and then reinstall, boot
Do the same for all usb drivers
If you still get bsod, uninstall one usb device at a time (eg printer etc) and see if BSOds continue.

Before sevenforums, I did some digging and figured that usb drivers could be the issue. So I already tried unistalling and reinstalling all the usb drivers. The bsods disappeared for a couple of days, but they were back after that.

Anyways, do you want me to go over the process again?

All I have are the reports, repeat the procedure. When the BSODs return, try removing all the usb devices, printers etc and then return slowly to find the cause.

Thanks Richard. You've really been prompt at responding back. I greatly appreciate your time.

P.S: Just curious to know. Is there any other alternatives other than choosing the full performance mode. The link mentions that battery life will take a hit. With an already degrading battery, I'm open to considering other options to side step this issue.

We dont have to do anything forever. Do everything as a test. If the problem is solved its up to you want you want to do with the information.
Even the less than up to stardards battery could be the cause. Try to use the computer high performance plugged in, for a while; again we have to test to find the cause.
