BSOD 0X00000050 Every Time I try to start Photoshop or Maya

Hi,

I juust did a system restore and immediately following that, whenever I try to start up Adobe Flash Professional, Photoshop , or Maya, or any other graphics program, I get the BSOD Stop: 0x00000050 "Page Fault in NonPaged Area". There were no other restore points saved so I was stuck with the faulty settings.

I did use memtest86+ to test all of my RAM just to make sure it wasn't the hardware and they all passed, so pretty sure it's a software issue. But when I wiped my harddrive and reinstalled Windows, the problem persisted so I'm clueless as to what the problem is.

First up you dont seem to have all windows updates installed they need to be run as they can provide drivers

The bad news is i dont see anything conclusive in the dump file you posted and generally when BSODs persist after a clean install this usually points towards hardware problems, or you have immediately installed a dodgy/old/problematic driver that may be causing your issues, if it BSOD on vanilla install then check hardware first if it started BSODing after you started to update/install drivers then it may still be a software issue

You can prove hardware by running some tests (although these cant prove PSU/mobo)

be aware you should install temp monitoring software before running stress tests and monitor during just in case you have an overheating issue, you dont want to fry anything

Another option would be driver verifier to try to flush out any faulty drivers, be aware you need to read the info before activating verifier incase you cannot boot your system afterwards

Thanks Pauly, Thanks for your help. I actually realized when I reinstalled Windows, I hadn't reinstalled my drivers for my Graphics card. I just reinstalled those drivers and the programs are working again without any BSOD. So relieved! Thanks again for your help.
