Hello,

For a few days now I have been having BSOD problems. 5 - 10 min after start my computer hangs up, gradually loosing functionality until it finally crashes with a BSOD stating that a "process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated."

The problems first started shortly after I installed the logitech webcam C270. I'm not sure if that is the culprit but it appears that the C270 is somewhat infamous for causing windows problems.

I have tried using system restore, but all my restore points prior to the installation are gone for some reason (possibly because I used startup repair at some point).

I have also used the windows tools to check the hard drive and my ram and neither appear to have any issues.

I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

(I will edit this post with the report files shortly.)

First of all thank for the reply, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

That said I updated from firmware version 1.33 to 1.37, but sadly I'm still experiencing the same BSOD.

Can you free up some space from both the C and the G drive?

Sure, how much space are we talking about?

I can free up a lot on the HD, but the SSD is hogged mostly by Windows and the massive pagefil.sys and hiberfil.sys files which I'm not sure I can delete just like that.

I freed up some space, but it hasn't solved the problem (in fact the BSOD are getting worse, though I doubt that has something to do with what I did).

Stop 0xF4 is usually a storage related issue. So we should minimize storage related problem areas first.

Can you open the computer and apply the SATA cables on different unused ports of the motherboard?
