We bought a brand new Dell computer in December, they finally sent us a replacement computer in April, and the problem continues: BOD whenever we watch a video. Dell says it is a Windows 7 problem, and we do not have Microsoft support available because Windows came preinstalled on our computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the error message, which is always the same:

Please upload the memory dump files:
Upload Dump Files:
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

All seem to be STOP 0x1E errors, with 1 driver blamed (WUSB54Gv4x64.sys)
This is related to your Wireless USB adapter (probably by Linksys).
The driver is dated from 2006 and, as such, is probably not even close to being compatible with Win7 x64.

Please turn off Driver Verifier immediately:
turn off Driver Verifier by going back in and selecting "Delete existing settings" on the first page and click on Finish

First, I don't recommend using these USB adapters - they have poor performance and have too many problems to be used reliably. I recommend using the type that plugs into your motherboard and has an antenna sticking out the back of your computer case.

That being said, please download a fresh copy of the Win7 x64 drivers for this device. If there aren't any Win7 drivers, then I'd suggest that you get a device that's Win7 compatible. Then uninstall the current driver software and install the freshly downloaded software.

If there are no Win7 drivers and you can't afford a new device right now, download the appropriate Vista x64 drivers. Then uninstall the current drivers and do the following to install the drivers in compatibility mode:
Compatibilty Mode Driver Installation:
1 - Download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website.
2 - Uninstall the current drivers using the Control Panel...Programs and features...Uninstall a program applet. Then verify that the driver/device has been removed in Device Manager
3 - Right click on freshly downloaded driver installation file and select "Properties"
4 - Select the Compatibility tab - and do the following:
- Click on the "Change settings for all users" button
- Click on the box to select "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and then select Windows Vista Service Pack 1
- Click on the box to select "Run as administrator"
- Click on OK to exit all the dialogs
5 - Right click on the driver installation file and select "Run as administrator"
6 - Let it install and see if that stops the BSOD's.
