Hi, I have a new machine built almost three months ago and I've occasionally gotten BSODs but they've increased in the past couple of weeks usually a few minutes after I wake the machine from sleep.

One BSOD error said something about USBScan.sys with error 0x0000000A. Thanks very much.

my specs:
Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.30GHZ not overclocked
Corsair 8gb ram
Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Retail
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboard Rev. B3
Gigabyte R685D5OC-1GD video card
Seasonic M12II Bronze 620W power supply
3 SATA hard drives

Three issues

1-Related to EtronHub3.sys eXtensible Hub Driver. from Etron Technology Inc This is probably what caused your crashes. I would re-install newest.

2-this file (zl88avs64.sys) has no information and may be Malware. It is dated 2007. Run Malwarebytes.

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
Update it immediately.
Do a full system scan

3-Update to SP-1

Wow, thanks for the super fast response.

I updated the EtronHub3 driver and I ran a full malwarebytes scan (see below).

I can't update to SP1, I get error 0x800f0a12. I use the chimera boot loader and I think it's preventing me from updating to sp1. I think it moved the win7 boot info to a different disk or something. Any suggestions?

malwarebytes scan detected two suspicious items, both were removed by me:

Good news bad news. USB driver update has seemed to work. These two were inconclusive but point to memory management (probably a driver)

You by chance running a Mac?

Related to MDFSYSNT.SYS MacDrive Partition Manager from Mediafour Corporation.

Thanks ZigZag. I'm dual booting Windows 7 and Snow Leopard.

Memory management driver? Any suggestions on what drivers to update? Thanks.

Adobe Flash updates may have caused my BSODs

For the last few days I've been getting frequent BSODs. The BSOD message suggested I disable or uninstall recent software and hardware. I noticed the last 2 software updates occurred about the same time I began getting BSODs. I uninstalled the 2 Adobe Flash updates, and I've BSOD free for about 12 hours now. I will update this post if I get another BSOD.

As far as I am aware Mac OS can only legally be run on its own hardware. I may be mistaken. If indeed that is true site rules prevent me from helping you.
