Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 64
- the original installed OS on the system? No
- an OEM or full retail version? full retail

- What is the age of system (hardware)? 2~3 years
- What is the age of OS installation 1~2 months

I didn't use the BSOD Dump & System File Collection app because I am running the computer on a different hard drive

I can't run windows on the main hard drive and I can't get Safe Mode to work on it either

Registry cleaners strike again.

At this point I recommend a system restore from the repair DVD.

See this tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html

If that doesn't work, time for a custom install. See here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/20146-custom-install-windows-7-a.html

Be sure not to format the partition, or your data will be lost. You programs will still need to be reinstalled.

Now, do your part and warn everyone you can to never use registry cleaning/optomizing programs!

I know this is the last thing on your mind, now. But once Jon gets you up and running these are the only maintenance that needs and should be taken. Get rid of any reg cleaners or defrags. They can cause damage as you have seen and they are not needed on 7. In addition, do not defrag the backup drive as restore points can be lost.
