Solved BSOD after automatic shutdown due to overheating processor

Remove WAT is an activation exploit used for cracking Win7 activation.

WHere did you get Win7? How is it activated?

If you want a Kaspersky Rescue CD ? Get it from the link below

Lets see if we could get a kaspersky rescue disc

Download

Download the ISO file onto your clean pc along with the tool below

Download

On the working PC try these steps

:ar: Run the downloaded file rescue2usb.exe.
:ar: On the Kaspersky USB Rescue Disk Maker window, click Browse... and select the iso image of Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10
:ar: Select the required USB device from the drop-down menu.
:ar: Click START.

Wait until the process is complete.

:ar: Click OK on the open window informing that Kaspersky USB Rescue Disk has been successfully created.

Plug the USB flash drive to the infected PC

Boot your computer from Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10

Press any key to enter the menu.

In the start up wizard window that opens, select the graphic interface language using the cursor moving keys. Press the ENTER key on the keyboard.

Read carefully the license agreement of Kaspersky Rescue Disk. If you agree with all terms, press 1 on the keyboard. To reboot the computer, press 2. To shut down the computer, press 3.

Choose Kaspersky Rescue Disk. Graphic Mode loads the graphic subsystem.
Press [ENTER]

Thanks VistaKing ! I downloaded the Kaspersky rescue disk but it wouldn't work for me.:(
Then I got the bitdefender AV scanner, and this one worked. It found 1 infected file, and it deleted it. I hope that this will solve my problem. I'll run all previous tests/repairs again (I'm beginning to get good at those things ! :))

PS. I hope that Gregrocker won't be too angry at me ...

I am not angry but you need to answer back why you have Remove WAT activation exploit on your system. We're not allowed to help with pirated Win7.

From post #72. This is why their is a post #73 by me.

I moved the active flag myself, cause it seemed obvious (to me) that the the active partition should be the one with the OS on it... now I know better

I can assure you PaulVdB if you don't follow Gregs and others instructions and tutorials you will end up in No Mans Land.

Please notice my active flag.
View attachment 269414

Yes, I see it Layback Bear. But just be honnest with me, isn't it reasonable to think that the active partition should be the one with the OS on it ? I do know now that I was wrong, but the OS on a non active partition DOES sound weird, no?:)

And yes, I do realise that Gregrocker is the man to follow. I never underestimated or doubted his knowledge. I only wanted to anticipate, do what I could, use my own common sence instead of just sitting back and let him and others fix my problem. I really hope I didn't offend any one... It was never my intention to ignore good advice ...:o

Paul you must answer in the thread. We do not help via PM here but keep all help in the thread so others can benefit.

Since there doesn't seem to be a sollution for my problem, I think I'll have to reinstall the OS and progs. I was thinking about buying WIN8 sooner or later. Most likely this will be sooner THAN later.
Thanks for the effort guys. I hope that other SevenForum members will get something useful out of my misery.

in any case : Thanks, Gregrocker, VistaKing, Arc, Faladu, Layback Bear and all the others who did their very best to help me. You guys deserve a medal !

I would have waited for a response longer than 2 hours. The best advice is to buy Win7 only from major retailers or MS. However this does not mean it is non-Genuine.

Call MS Customer Service to ask them if the Product Key is Genuine. Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft

File a complaint if it is not. This can help you later get a free copy if you lose your money and cooperate with their investigation..

If not Genuine contact the seller for a refund and your bank to stop the payment.

Hey, Gregrocker !

Maybe I should have waited, yes ... but I (thought) that I had the afternoon free today to install and had to work tomorrow. But right after I decided to pay and download, I got called to work. So I couldn't install it today. Tomorrow doesn't look good either... Maybe Sunday or Monday... I'll keep you informed and sure will check the genuinity of the product that I bought. Meanwhile I still hope to recover my old system so I don't loose even more time installing other soft.
I was able to copy the contents of the old disk with Paragon. I quickly tried their repair options, but it didn't work :(
As soon I have the time, I'll follow the rest of the repairs, mentionned here on the forum and let you know what happens.

In your last post #93.
Access your order and customer support Store Home
This site set off all kinds of warning from my Security.

From post #92
Store Home
Once again nothing but Security Warnings.

My security system (Avast + ZoneAlarm) did not warn me when I visted and browsed their website. Only when I wanted to download the second file (ms.win.7.fix.exe) Avast refused to download. I decided to download it anyway. As long I don't run the file, nothing can happen, right? After download I scanned it with Avast, and it said it was a safe file...
I'll keep you informed... (also see my previous post to Gregrocker)

I've contacted their support team about Avast's warning :

05/24/2013 10:30 from you
I purchased Win7 pro and downloaded the iso file
when I tried to download the ms.win.7.fix.exe (6.57 MB), AVAST blocked the download... what now ?

05/24/2013 18:45 from support team

Dear Paul,

Please click on Start orb, then right click on Computer icon and select Properties command from context menu. Scroll content down and look at Windows activation section. Windows is activated or not?

My reply :
Thanks for your reply, but I didn't have the chance yet to install the OS. So I don't know if Windows is activated or not. Most likely I will install the OS tomorrow or day after.
I just was supprised that AVAST blocked the download (suspicious website).
Nevertheless I disabled AVAST and then I could download the file. I scanned it and Avast told me that there was no problem with the file.
But in the mean time I want to know why I need this program ? what does it do ? when and how and why do I have to use/run it ?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Dear Paul,

OEM activator (ms.win.7.fix.exe) makes low level system changes so it is considered some antiviruses as suspicious software. Moreover most antiviruses hates to download .exe files from the internet. But don't worry. When we investigating your situation, we discovered, that OEM activator is integrated in Windows setup program and activation must be performed during first logon to system. We have corrected instructions and list of downloadable files.

We'lll see what happens when I install tomorrow...

This sounds suspiciously like a crack this retailer bundled with the download they sold you, unless you bought an OEM version which needs an extra file to prepare a PC for resale. But since I've never heard of it I'll ask our Activation experts.
