I have had an ongoing issue with my computer ever since I got it over a year ago. I get BSOD 'randomly' when I turn on my computer. It can happen each month or it may take a rest and not do it for three months. It will crash hard and often and then be perfectly fine. Every time you restart the computer it will BSOD until you can shut the computer down properly. Then I just start the computer up after a time and it's totally fine. It only blue screens right when windows loads or when I first load a browser (Chrome and IE).

I've checked the following:
RealTemp - all temperatures are fine.
WD Diagnosis - no errors on my hard drive
MemTest (with Windows loaded, not on boot) - no errors to report
No viruses found with Microsoft Security Essentials (and using others)
I've done Check Disk and looked into the errors and I get nowhere.

Here is the latest dump file:

Hello and welcome Conqueror mate Imust tell you straight away I ma no expert at anything much and certainly notthat data you have listed. I have seen several references in other places andin Wikipedia to this ntoskrnl.exe being to do with HDD and RAM problems http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ntoskrnl.exe

So what I might suggest is that yourun a drive test and then a memtest to eliminate them. I have looked for the WD test but the site is terribly convoluted but I think this is the one you want WD Support / Downloads / SATA & SAS / WD Black

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.htmlthisone you will need to make a bootable disk set the BIOS to optical (or USB ifpreferred) boot the machine and let it run for at LEAST 8 passes unless theerrors come up straight away. Takes fair time to complete and some leave itrunning overnight.

I had another crash. This occurred when logging into Steam just after startup. I couldn't find the crash dump file. The only thing I changed was unchecking 'Overwrite any existing file' under System Properties -> Advanced -> Startup and Recovery -> System Failure.

I did record the blue screen. nvlddmkm.sys with a 7E bug code. This looks like it has something to do with the nVidia drivers. I had updated the drives not too long ago and they should be the newest ones. I've checked and my video card drivers are up-to-date.

I ran Memtest to no avail. It did not find any errors. I will keep on searching. I read an interesting thread where someone with a similar problem was asked to check connections between the motherboard and their hard drive and RAM. I do take this computer to LAN parties, but have never experienced the issue directly after moving the computer. I still can not find a commonality between the crashes.

No mate generally folks are advised to reseat the leads cards sticks etc and while you are at it tyr this

Now as for the slots to clean them use astrip of old credit card about 1/2 inch wide nip the corners off one end - preferably round them off hold apiece of thin lint free cloth over the end dab on some form of alcohol - isopropyl alcohol (what we swab the skin with before an injection) is good and GENTLY swipe along the slots.

This can also be done for the GPU slot/s.

Are you running AVG antivirus? Those errors are common for a system that has poorly written or out of date drivers. There's a few drivers that wonder all over memory and can damage your file system.

Follow the instructions at the top of this thread. Or click here: http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html
Hmm well Wizz Conquerer has MSE in the specs that is not to say there isn't some AVG crap lying around eh?
Personally I would have a look though the registry as I find it is a nasty little piece to get rid of thoroughly and I have found the only way through the registry I have found too that even Revo can leave stuff behind there.

See at the moment I have McAfee sitting there which is shortly coming out as I have obviously downloaded something unwittingly and it has crept in.

The OP won't get any help if he doesn't upload the necessary files. Trying to debug the system without them is like chasing a bat in a dark cave. A total waste of time.
