So my power went off very briefly while I was on the computer. It turned back on itself to resume, but then got the blue screen of death and shut down a few seconds after start up. I tried restarting, completely shutting it down and starting it, but it keeps shutting down with BSOD maybe 30 seconds after it starts up. I am able to use the computer in safe mode with networking, which I'm on now. I will post the dump files.

I just started working today

After posting I'd gotten off after about 10 tries yesterday. Today I came back on and, to my surprise, it worked without a problem. Can I ask how you could tell whether Norton was the problem? I don't have the slightest idea of what to make out of the dump files.

The driver responsible was called SYMNETS.SYS which is the symentec system driver. If that is the cause of the BSOD then norton is.
Here at Seven Forums we use a tool called Windbg. If you want to know how Windows works then I strongly recommend the book Windows Internals, part 2 actually covers some BSOD crash dump analysis.
Anyway, if the problem is solved then please mark the thread as solved.
Any more issues don't hesitate to post back. :)
