Hi All,

I recently added Corsair SSD 120GB Force 3 and installed Win7 Ultimate on it.
I have been getting this BSOD - 0X0000007B and 0X00000109

Wanted forum members help as i googled and it says new hardware or maybe PSU.

Is my PSU so inadequate?

My Specs -
Intel i3 530 Inbuilt Graphics
120GB SS primary
1TB Seagate Secondary
12 GB RAM - new 4*2 GB and old 2*2 (Both running in same freq - 1333)
PSU- 350W.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Thanks a lot for the guidance... Will enable it and post as soon as i have the dump file. I was overclocking using the Gigabyte's inbuilt to 3.52Ghz... And had disabled it some days back and since then i had got only 1 BSOD - 109 error.

Thanks, Abhi

Are the following up to date?
  • SSD Firmware: Force Series
  • BIOS: GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1156 - GA-H55M-USB3 (rev. 2.0) Careful, this is rev. 2.0, so if you have a different revision of this motherboard, use the appropriate version. Links to other revisions are provided within that link, as well.
  • Hard disk controller drivers: Can be found through your motherboard support site
  • Chipset drivers: Can also be found through your motherboard support site

Hi, i have updated the Force Series Firmware - thanks for suggesting that...
Updated my drivers by Driver Agent Pro... And also updated BIOS too... Mine mobo was 1.0 - Gigabyte's eBIOS showed the correct version.

Hope it corrects the problem - Driver agent updated my SATA driver to third party driver which was crashing my system previously, so this time went one by one and updated to a older but first party driver for SATA..

Will update if i come across the problem again!

Thanks!
