BSOD after using duotone USB drive formatted for Mac

Hi,

I have been getting BSODs randomly for the past few days. The OS has been stable for a couple of years, and the only things that could have caused it that I can think of are:
1. A new app called Bulk Rename Utility
2. A duotone USB drive that I used. This drive seems to be formatted for macs and every time I plugged it in, I get a "Do you want to format drive" option.
