Hi,
I'm consistently getting a BSOD after putting my laptop to sleep and waking it up. The logon screen shows, and then after 10 seconds I get a BSOD. I installed the new OS into my Dell Vostro 1720 after upgrading to 8GB of memory and a OCZ Vertex 4 SATA III SDD.
I have tried
* turning off 'allow hybrid sleep'
* turning of write caching
* updating all of my drivers (using driverupdate.net - yes I paid :S). However, it could have missed a few. Also explicitly went to nvidia website to download latest drivers. One thing I'm suspicous of is whether the Intel Chipset (45 express) is up to date, as I've read that might cause issues (especially around the AHCI driver?), but I went to Intel's website and the link to the newest driver was broken.
The SSD is new, but maybe firmware needs to be updated (which will be difficult as it's my boot drive).
I also have AVG running - could that maybe cause an issue?
Dump attached - output is:
System info:
EDIT: Just noticed the info about posting BDOS instructions, so I'm attaching that now, thanks!
Thanks!
Taras
