installed 7 ultimate 64bit, I'm having periodical blue screens, seems to be when online and watching video clips. I've tried to look at the minidump files but cannot open it?
I'll upload the minidump, if somone could take a look ant tell me what is causing the bsod, would be much appreciated.

There was not much info in this DMP. It pointed to a file which cant cause the crash. It is a device driver problem.

This may very well be a one off. lets see if it happens again. If it does we should run driver verifier. to do that you will need a workng win 7 dvd, a restore point, and a backup

When that is ready let us know

It pointed to a core Windows file, 100% guaranteed not to be the issue. I can't open the dmp for whatever reason, but I'm making an educated guess that it was ntkrnlmp.exe.

It didn't point to a specific driver, that's why we need driver verifier. We are guessing it's a driver from the bugcheck codes.

You asked 15 hours aga. JK replied, you asked again here, I am replying. It isnt the win 7 OS file, just that the debugger has to point at something

do you think that it 64bit specific?? if so would 32bit win 7 solve it??

It can happen in either format. Might have less chance of it happening in win 7 32bit. Yet to be determined

Good luck with verifier. Just make sure you have a backup, restore point, and working win 7 dvd
