Hi Guys,

My problem is that when I use the memory to a certain point, BSOD kicks in, usually with the fltmgr.sys stuff, rarely with something different. I found it's related to the RAM by using memtest. When I start to use it, at the really beginning it freezes up throws the BSOD. (The BSOD comes as such: the screen gets fizzy, like the old TV screens, and the sound starts to repeat itself, and in ~2 seconds the BSOD comes.)

I updated all the drivers I could find, also updated BIOS.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64, it was already on this computer when I bought it brand new around 6 month ago. The problem might have been there then, but I just recognized the problem 3-4 months ago.

Other attributes:
- AMD Phenom II X4 955 Proc., 3.2Ghz
- ASRock 770 Extreme 3
- 4GB DDR3 RAM

Thanks for your help in advance,
madorjan

PS: the lot of failure today came from me testing it and trying to solve it.

Seven of 11 point directly to stflt.sys which is a component in several malware apps including Spyware Termination 20122. You should remove both it and your avast and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials

Avast can be a contributing cause of BSOD'S . Please remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST

Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

You should also remove dtsofbus01.sys (daemon tools)

Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

Use this SPTD uninstaller DuplexSecure - Downloads DuplexSecure - FAQ

when you're done you can use this Freeware:

MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (MagicDisc) in its place

Using MagicISO to create ISO image files
