I followed the instructions, removed the video driver and used Driver sweeper. I am at wits end, any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I have formatted the drive and reloaded only to face the same problem.

Thank you.

edit to add: I have ran SFC /scannow and memtest numerous times. I have also kept up with the latest drivers for my video from AMD.

---------
These may be caused either by a failing network adapter driver, or a virus or even by an antivieus/anti-spam who blocks network for sake of performance.

First of all, the network adapter driver is very old.

Update it from Realtek.

Next, scan the system for possible virus infection.

Not seeing any real antivirus installed there. Am I missing something? Use Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

I apologize for being so tardy.
I was never successful in my attempts to update my network adapter driver and during the night my hard drive failed. I am back up with a smaller drive temporally until WD sends me a replacement. I loaded nothing more than Win 7 ultimate & bare minimums for now.

You may want to close this until I'm back and if my problem returns.

I greatly appreciate the help and the privilege to be a member here.

Thanks again!

Bad news that the HDD is failing.

The thread is open for you .... see how it works with the replacement HDD. Let us know. If the problem does not back, it will be very good. So best of luck :)
