Hi sevenforums,

I bought a Toshiba Satelite laptop last month and everything was working fine up until 2 or 3 days ago. Since then I have had a few BSOD messages, all when I've been doing different things (surfing the internet, playing Football Manager etc.)

I was wondering if you'd be able to help me find a solution for this, whether that be take the laptop back or a fix you guys could help me with.

The laptop is Windows 7 Home Premium, x64, OEM. The laptop was bought at the begining of January and I have not altered the OS.

The files I hope you will find the answer in are included :)

Thanks alot in advance, Chuy :)

My first thought; is it getting to hot or excessively warm to the touch? There could be something logged in the fans causing it not to cool properly....a small piece of paper can do this.

Nothing that I can see in the fan on the side.

Since turning my laptop back on some things don't seem to be working (such as Facebook. The chat bar at the side just says loading and you can't view comments on it etc.)

The errors started happening after I logged onto a network I have never been on before. It was a university network as my friends at university and I was visiting, it wasn't a random network or anything like that.

Crashes are blaming your Windows network drivers. It's most likely either your Realtek network drivers or your AV.

I see you have AVG and McAfee installed. You should never have two AV installed at the same time as they conflict with each other.

Please remove both and install MSE for testing purposes

I have uninstalled Daemon Tools, McAfee and AVG and have installed MSE.

The one thing I don't know how to do is update my Realtek driver. How do I do this?

Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it :)

OK i've done the driver thing now.

I think that it was the two Anti-Viruses doing it, because after I removed them it stopped BSOD.

Thanks alot for all your help so far.

Before I go (and hopefully never have to come back with an issue again) what is the best free anti virus I can install? Is there any better than AVG?

Thanks alot, Chuy :D
