BSOD at random times

I have been getting all sorts of BSOD errors with different errors at different times. I have tried a memtest and figured out that one of my RAM ports is a bit faulty so I have since removed the RAM card from that slot and am just running on 1 4gb RAM card. I have also removed Norton which I was told can cause BSOD. I really would rather not reset my entire computer for a chance to fix this error if I could just get help instead.

I have done the test for 8 passes and found that one of my ports is shot. I cannot say that I have overheating issues since I have a thermometer for my cpu, hdd, and system and neither one gets higher then 41 C. I did the ESET online scanner and found 3 problems (thanks Norton, glad I paid for you) and fixed 2 of them, one of them is Yontoo and it won't go away. I couldn't figure out what to do with the CrystalDiskInfo software, and nothing came up with the hard drive tests.

I am not going to lie, there have been several little issues going on with this computer and I have just made the decision to reset the whole thing. I will repost if I get another BSOD but I am praying that this handles any issues.

I did read that reply and I am no longer using a RAM card in that slot, so I figured that it would no longer be causing a problem.

What is your RAM configuration, i.e. what size and slots are populated?
You may need to adjust BIOS to match the RAM specs, volts and timings.

not gonna lie, when it comes to the interior of a computer I am completely inept, so pardon my loose descriptions. I have 4 slots from left to right one is black then blue then black then blue, I am using the left most blue slot (so the second from the left). My ram card is a Super Talent DDR3-1600 4gb. I would have no idea how to adjust my bios settings correctly or if they even needed adjusting.
