BSOD at various moments

Please advise,

At a certain moment the system started to give BSOD 's . Also other strange things happen. If I close the system then somtimes it closes normal, somtimes it closes after a longer period and sometimes the result is a BSOD.
Another thing is that if I leave the Pc running for a longer period (pe half an hour) the system closes automaticly. If I switch on the machine I have to enter the pasword and then the program continuous wher I was in the program. Sometimes this does not work and do I have to cut the connection of the PC to the mains and after I reconnect I can switch the PC on again.

Maybe someone can give advise.

A windows PC has a power save configuration.
Open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options. You going to see 3 power configurations.
Normally they are Balanced, Power Saver, and High Performance.
You can configure by choosing Change plan settings - Change advanced power settings.

To save power and increase HDD life, the steps are:
- Turn screen off
- Put the computer in low activity (Sleep). It turns off some devices like network and disks. Move the mouse or hit any key and it wakes up.
- Turn off the computer saving current state (Hibernate). It saves memory into the disk and shut down. To return it has to boot, but instead of loading the normal OS files into memory, it loads the previous memory (that is saved on disk) into memory so you get the same status before hibernation.

To BSOD try this:
- Run a System File Check on a cmd window: sfc /scannow
- Schedule a disk check on a cmd window: chkdsk C: /f
