BSOD atikmdag.sy GPU drivers

30 mins before the BSOD I had graphics twisted and flashing when playing Heroes of the Storm. I found out that there are available driver updates for AMD which was the 15.7 version. Updated it and after awhile the whole screen went into a purple blur. When rebooted it gave BSOD errors. I googled about the atikmdag.sys BSOD errors and the problem seemed to be with the drivers. Followed some of the instructions there but to no avail.

Things that I have tried:

Uninstall (with Display Driver Uninstaller in Safe Mode) and reinstall drivers
Install drivers in custom (without CCC)
Install older versions of AMD drivers
Expand atikmdag.sy into atikmdag.sys through command prompt (Instructions found in atikmdag.sys error BSOD on startup [Solved] - Graphics Cards - Graphics Cards)

I can only boot to normal mode when the drivers are uninstalled/disabled. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hihi thanks for the reply!

I downloaded Furmark and it gave me an error when i tried to start the test (Furmark requires an opengl 2.0 compliant). This was done when the drivers were uninstalled so I figured to try again with them reinstalled. Back in safe mode (because BSOD will happen in normal mode otherwise) it gave me another error (Could not initialize ZoomGPU. FurMark startup failed. Bye!)

Hm, this is probably a failing GPU, replace it.
