BSOD ATIKMDAG.sys 0x50, ntoskrnl.exe,etc (ASUS k42JA)

hi guys im new in here and English is not my main language so 1st of all im sorry for bad my bad English

im using laptop
Type :ASUS K42JA
RAM : 2 x 4 gb corsair
VGA : ati radeon 5730 2gb ( CCC 13.5 beta )
HDD : 500gb 5400rpm ( stock )
anti virus : Kaspersky internet security 2013
os : Windows 7 home premium 64bit

i have some trouble with my laptop this occur for a while and kinda disturbing


1. Every time i play games or just idling i get some eror like ATIKMDAG.sys eror 0x50 and my laptop just freeze and i must force shut down and when i reboot it just need to start up repair and it happen a lil bit often especially when playing diablo 3.but in past 4 days it always happen when im idling or a few minute after log in.

i run mem diagnosis tools for about 6+ hours and it only said that there a problem with my memory, so i think its the ram so i change with the stock ram ( 2 gb ) and it stop... for a while than the BSOD ATIKMDAG.sys error 0x50 happen again.

so i RMA the ram and then clean uninstall Catalyst center and replace with the new Catalist version...

and for a while seems fine but today it happen again with ATIKMDAG.SYS error but only happen once.


2. when i check with blue screens viewer +event viewers it show some kernel error

a. ntoskrnl.exe +18c443
b. LMS services cannot connect to MEI driver
and for now i got random BSOD or sometimes freeze or sudden restart

3. when i check system and tried to refresh windows index there a notification that theres a new hardware detected but every time i tried to re run assement it failed it says that windows couldnt measure video playback performance


Last thing i remembered is i left my laptop updating windows update but when i got back the laptop was off and the charger wont work and when i check the charger was dead so i replace with the new one and after that this BSOD just start to happening. i attach a file for review

And use disk manufacturer disk diagnostics tool.

Also try http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html test if system is stable then. So no anti4us software active and no startup items and no special services. Revert back to normal boot when finished.
