BSOD atikmpag.sys after installing VGA Display drivers

Hi guys! I have a Lenovo y470P laptop. I can't install the video driver for the AMD video card in the laptop. Apparently I have switchable graphics but I'm only able to use the Intel HD3000 right now. Anytime I install the correct drivers for the AMD 7670M I get the atikmpag.sys BSOD

I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue or if it is a software issue. I've tried installing so many different drivers from AMD including the ones from the Lenovo website Drivers and software - IdeaPad Y470p Notebook

BSOD viewer showed the 3 errors atikmpag.sys + dxgkrnl.sys + dxgmms1.sys , I have no idea what to do at this point.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Uninstall your installed version of the display driver.

Then clean up any possible leftover.

Then install version 13.9 WHQL only.

Lately this is the stable version there.
