I am trying to help a very computer illiterate friend (I know enough to be dangerous). She says the BSOD happens once a day or so. Here are some system details

-Windows 7 Home Premium
-x64
-OEM Install

I am unsure of the age of the hardware. A system restore has been performed. I have also attached text from error description post BSOD. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryan

Hello RsCooper, welcome to SF,

Are you comfortable enough with PC's / Windows7 to do a little registry editing?
Your dmp file has info but not enough (for me, there might be smarter people out there :) ) To immediately identify the driver causing it because you do not have the corresponding logging on. If you would have the next dmp file would probably point directly to the culprit....

If you are.... this is what you need to try. But again,,,ONLY if you really know what you're doing, including saving your registry beforehand...

In the \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management registry key, create or edit the TrackLockedPages value, and then set it equal to DWORD 1.
Restart the computer.

Let it BSOD, and upload dmp....

I checked the video drivers; windows tells me they are up to date. I ran the memory diagnostic; all test were passed.

Please check with the manufacturer. Windows, regretfully, often claims drivers are up to date when they are not....
