BSOD CDD.DLL when gaming/ using computer.

Hi,
I brought a brand new computer and it has been blue screening for the past 2 weeks starting on day one of owning it upon which I also experienced games/computer freezing while gaming.

I have run the diagnostic tool and have uploaded the grab all zip. I have also run the sfc scannow but cannot access the CBS text docutment found in windows\logs\cbs. scannow said that the windows resource protection found courrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

I ran chkdsk in a cmd prompt opened as administrator and it reported no faults.

Did you run any Windows update on any drivers?

Hum pierat mate seeing as this is a new machine I would be doing something on warranty mate rather than try to sort it yourself in case things go south with what we do here .

It could be just about anything from the install to a hardware problem and believe me getting it fixed outside of warranty is very expensive.

I brought it assembled without os and installed os and drivers myself. I would likely need to identify faulty part and rule out software problems first before claiming replacement. I am unfamiliar with bsod troublshooting and have no idea how to tell wat is causing it software or hardware

It doesn't seem it would be a hardware issue because your I/O resources say everything is ok. Most likely a firmware/driver issue.

If it were me pierat I would back up all data (I do on a regular weekly basis with this http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/73828-imaging-free-macrium.html ) and do a fresh install.

I know it is a pain although you could try a repair install http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html
